Basic Information

TOFA conference provides an opportunity for the worldwide thermodynamics community to meet, present and discuss their work. The aim of TOFA conference is to promote fundamental and practical aspects of the thermodynamics of alloys. Topics include, but are not limited to:

- Experimental and theoretical thermodynamics
- Phase diagrams
- Computational thermodynamics, software and database development
- Thermodynamics of nanosystems
- Structure of Alloys
- Metallic clusters
- Surface and interfacial phenomena
- Thermodynamic aspects of the reactivity
- Thermochemistry of metallurgical processes
- Industrial applications
- Modeling of diffusion and phase transformation
- Coupling of thermodynamic and material properties modeling

According to tradition, there will be no parallel sessions, and the conference will include both oral and poster presentations. Computer demonstrations and tabletop displays from participants are also possible.
